SharedInk books are perfect for proof books. We offer a tutorial and action set for easily making proof books using Photoshop's Contact Sheet II Wizard. It makes proof book creation very easy (taking only a few minutes of your time, and then letting your computer do the rest of the work).

Clear Cover Book
Take a favorite image from the wedding and design it as a full-bleed Page 1 (suggestion: include the bride & groom's name and wedding date on the right side of the image). Then make Page 2 a blank page, and start your contact sheets with Page 3. This makes for a stunning proof book that is sure to wow your client.

This is a classic presentation, where you can include up to 2 lines of foil stamping on the front cover to personalize the book.

The most popular size for proof books is our Keepsake 11x8.25 Book, but the larger XL Keepsake 16x12 Book is rapidly becoming a popular choice as well.

In case you were wondering how big your proof book can be, with our XL Keepsake 16x12, Keepsake 11x8.25 and 12" Square Books, you can have up to 220 printed sides (110 sheets of paper). That's a lot of proofs!

Another perfect application of a SharedInk book is as a guest signature book. Guest signature books are perfect way to capture memories from weddings, anniversaries, bar/bat mitzvahs and other important events. By offering a SharedInk guest signature book to your client, you'll be providing a lasting keepsake that your customer will cherish (and gladly pay for!).

For a guest signature book, we generally recommend that you go with the Keepsake 11x8.25 Book size. This will give guests plenty of room to write their well wishes.

When choosing your paper type during the ordering process, be sure to choose our Layflat Pages upgrade. With the Layflat Pages, the book will remain open without requiring anyone to hold the pages down. It makes book signing a breeze!

As far as pens to use for the actual signing, we recommend a soft felt tip, ultra fine point permanent ink marker with fast drying ink, such as the "Sharpie Ultra Fine Permanent Marker" (make sure to get the "Ultra Fine" tip), which you may find at most office supply stores.

Each book that we make is hand-stitched and hand-bound. We use top-quality materials, such as Italian-imported linen cloth and heavy, premium cover weight paper. And there are many quality control steps during the book making process to ensure that each product meets our high standards.
