Overview
We recognize the sensitivity of the personal and private information that you enter and upload
as you use SharedInk's web services. It is our goal to earn and keep your trust. As such, we
are firmly committed to protecting your information and privacy. By visiting SharedInk, you are
accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Use of Information
Although it doesn't yet, SharedInk may in the future share non-personal, summary information about
our members to third parties. For example, we may disclose the total number of users or the total
number of WebBooks in use. In no case, however, will personally identifiable material about
individual members (such as email address) be shared with third parties without your prior
knowledge and consent.
SharedInk will NEVER sell or rent your personal information without your consent.
Member Communication
As part of becoming a member of SharedInk, we ask for your e-mail address. Some of the great
features offered by SharedInk rely on e-mail communication with you. We use your e-mail
address to send you notifications of changes to your WebBook, as well as to inform you of
important news about SharedInk, new features and promotional offers. Only SharedInk will send
you these e-mail messages.
With the huge problem of unsolicited e-mail, SharedInk is very sensitive to our member's e-mail
preferences. We want to ensure that every e-mail message you receive from SharedInk is useful
and relevant to you. To help achieve this goal, members are easily able to tell us their
e-mail preferences by making updates to their Member Profile.

WebBook Privacy
You control who is able to view the personal and private information that makes up your
WebBook. You control access by inviting members to join your WebBook and giving them the
appropriate access level. As a matter of policy, none of the information that is entered or
uploaded by WebBook members is viewed by SharedInk (except in cases of reported abuses of
either SharedInk's policies or legal statutes). If we do need to access your WebBook to resolve
a reported problem, we will always ask for your permission before doing so.

Use of Cookies
Important! In order to use the SharedInk site, your browser must accept cookies from
www.sharedink.com. If your browser will not accept cookies from www.sharedink.com, you will
not be able to login. If you need help configuring your browser to accept cookies,
you find it here.
We have created a secure site using non-persistant, or session, cookies. A session cookie is a very small
text file stored temporarily in memory and is available only during the course of a session. Session cookies
allow us to verify your identify and ensure that you may only use those WebBooks to which you belong.
Conversely, session cookies ensure that unauthorized users are not allowed to view or edit your WebBooks.
When you sign in to the SharedInk site, the Web Page server issues your browser a session cookie that
identifies you as an authorized user. On subsequent requests, verification is based upon the cookie
presented back to the server. This means that you do not have to re-supply your username and password
on each page request.
The session cookie is eliminated once your SharedInk session is terminated. A session is terminated
in one of three methods:
- You logout of the SharedInk site.
- You close your browser.
- Your session times out. If you leave your computer unattended for thirty minutes, your
session will timeout, and you will be required to sign in again.

As a member of SharedInk, you can review and change the information in your Member Profile at any time.

Changes to this Policy
SharedInk may update this Privacy Policy at any time, and such modifications shall be effective
as soon as the modified policy is posted. Accordingly, you agree to review the policy periodically,
and your continued access or use of this site shall be deemed your acceptance of the modified
