Can I design my pages in a third-party application, like Photoshop?
You can design your pages in a third-party party application. Some of our more advanced users have been laying
out their pages in third-party software applications (like Photoshop, PowerPoint, PictureIt, PaintShop Pro), and
have been building some pretty amazing books.
After you design your pages in your third-party application, save each page individually as a JPEG image. Then
upload all of your images to your WebBook. To make it easier for you to upload your images, you can zip them
all up in a single zip file and then upload that one zip file.
For each page, create a new WebBook page and attach the appropriate image to each single page. If you turn off
page titles and borders in your WebBook, the image will take up the full page.
You should format your pages to be 10" wide by 8" tall at 300 dpi resolution (i.e. 3000 x 2400 pixels).

Can my pages be printed full-bleed?
By default, we do not offer full-bleed printing with our retail/consumer books. The maximum
printable area on our standard, non-bleed books is 10" wide x 8" tall, which means there is
approximately 3/4" of whitespace around all 4 edges of the page.
We do, however, offer full-bleed printing upon request. There is no additional charge for
full-bleed printing. In order to take advantage of the full-bleed printing, you will have to
design the pages of your book in Photoshop or a similar layout application and follow our
Keepsake 11x8.25 Book full-bleed formatting specifications or
MiniBook 8x6 full-bleed formatting specifications
(you should understand the concept of a "bleed trim").
After designing your pages, you should save them out as high quality JPEG images (1 JPEG image
for each page of your book). If you are using Photoshop, we recommend you save them as
Level 10 JPEG images.
Once you have created and uploaded your full-bleed pages into a new WebBook, please
contact us
to request that your project be full-bleed enabled. Your project must first be converted to a
full-bleed project BEFORE you place your order.

What are the full-bleed formatting specifications for the Keepsake 11x8.25 book?
Keepsake 11x8.25 Page Formatting Specifications:
(1) Format your images to be 10.75" wide x 8.25" tall.
(2) When designing/formatting your pages, please keep them flexible at the edges to give us room for trimming. We will be trimming the following amounts:
TOP: 0.125"
BOTTOM: 0.125"
FACE (OUTSIDE EDGE): 0.125"
SPINE (INSIDE EDGE): 0.25" (this amount is not physically trimmed off, but will disappear into the binding, and for design purposes, you should consider it "trimmed" off)
Note: For left-side pages, the FACE is the left edge and the SPINE is the right edge. For right-side pages, the FACE is the right edge and the SPINE is the left edge.
(3) We recommend that your images be at 300 dpi (i.e. 3225 x 2475 pixels).

What is the recommended colorspace?
When formatting your images, our general recommendation is that you format your images in RGB. Please
do not submit your files in CMYK format.
You can use either sRGB or Adobe RGB, whichever is more convenient for you. We strongly recommend that
you "tag" your images to indicate the color space you are using.
So, if you shoot images in sRGB, then please keep your images in sRGB format when making your digital
files for your SharedInk book.
If you shoot in RAW or Adobe RGB, and you have the flexibility in picking your color space, then feel
free to format your digital files in Adobe RGB.
The important point is that you should minimize your color space conversions.
